Project Selects Data Platform Vendor

11/9/2021

The RISE NM Project Team in consultation with the four RISE NM partner agency Cabinet Secretaries, RISE NM Steering Committee, and the New Mexico Governor's Office has selected Google LLC as its cloud data platform vendor.

Google will bring its expertise and the expertise of its partners Double Line and Tamr to bear as it builds the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)-based New Mexico Longitudinal Data System (NMLDS) which will house comprehensive student and worker data from across New Mexico and allow for cross-agency analysis and reporting.

RISE NM is a collaboration between four New Mexico state agencies:

  • New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD)
  • New Mexico Public Education Department (PED)
  • New Mexico Higher Education Department (HED)
  • New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (DWS)

The Google team will join the RISE NM Project in early 2022.
